Ryan M. Washkowiak has dedicated his life to improving the health of people within his community. He took that vision to the Tilton Toe-to-Tow 5k and Car Show when he founded the organization in December 2015.
As President, Washkowiak is leading the organization to become the new– Tilton Toe-to-Tow 5k and Car Show the most relevant and powerfully impactful cancer-fighting organization in the county. He has a laser focus on giving back, changing our community, and innovation. And under his leadership, the organization has set a historic goal to double its annual research funding to approximately $30 Thousand by 2021. The increase aims to dramatically grow what is already the largest and arguably most successful nonprofit cancer awareness in the Vermilion County.
As one of Tilton’s top staff executive, Washkowiak leads the strategic direction and overall management of the organization, with 250 volunteers and 50 staff members. He works with the organization’s Board of Directors to establish the organization’s vision and drive revenue and impact to achieve its lifesaving mission.
Washkowiak is a graduate of Danville High School and is currently enrolled at Danville Area Community College. He and his family live in Tilton, Illinois, where he was born and raised. Washkowiak plans to transfer into Terre Hautes, Scotts Business School in the fall of 2021.
